Is it safe for 4mo old babies?
This was designed for toddlers. There is nothing to keep an infant from rolling off. It is suitable for 2-7 ages kids.

Does it have the strip in the middle for support? Is it uncomfortable?
There is no support bar in the middle of the bed. My boys sleep great in these.Very easy to store and transfer.

Product seems sturdy, the canopy is a little difficult to keep attached though.

The cot is very easy to set up and take down. We purchased this so that our child can be outside without being in direct sunlight and the canopy does a great job of creating shade. The cot also has a storage compartment perfect for toys, snacks, etc. We have been using it in our backyard so far and look forward to taking it on the go this summer. The included travel bag keeps everything together and tidy for storage or travel.
